Bronze Glass Replacement With Partial Blackout Film – Commercial Building in Anaheim, CA
We recently completed this project for our client in Anaheim, and it’s a great example of how small, thoughtful adjustments can make a big difference for a business.
The client needed to replace bronze glass on a commercial building, but on the first floor, there was a specific challenge. Part of the view through the window looked onto an interior wall that simply didn’t need to be on display. At the same time, the client still wanted natural light coming into the space.
A Simple, Thoughtful Solution on the First Floor
Rather than covering the entire window, we installed partial blackout window film over just the portion of the glass that needed to be hidden. Blackout film is a solid vinyl film that blocks all light, making it perfect for covering unattractive wall areas, storage, or equipment.
By applying the film only where it was needed, we were able to hide the wall while keeping the rest of the window open and bright. It’s a practical solution that balances privacy and light without overcomplicating the design.
Because blackout film is a standard option, we were able to apply it in-house as part of the glass replacement. Not many glass companies offer film along with glass, but we do. That meant the client didn’t have to call a second company or pay extra setup fees for a small film job. We handled everything in one visit.
Second Floor: Clean, Consistent Bronze Glass
On the second floor, we replaced the glass with new bronze tempered safety glass, matching the building’s existing appearance and meeting current safety requirements. Keeping the look consistent across the building was important, and the new glass blends in cleanly with the rest of the exterior.
Working Carefully Around the Site
This job required ladder access and careful work around existing agave plants near the building. Our team took the time to work safely and neatly so the surrounding landscaping was left just as we found it.
The Result
The finished project gave the client exactly what they were looking for:
Privacy where it was needed
Natural light where it mattered
A clean, consistent bronze appearance
One contractor handling both glass and film
Projects like this are a good reminder that the best solutions aren’t always about doing more — they’re about doing what fits the space and the people using it.
